Truffle Academy in the world, the international award is born: The pioneers of the truffle.
The Award Winner is the historic and noble Priest Don Giovanni Balsamini.
Giuseppe Cristini, creator of events and truffle narrator, together with the Diocese of Urbino -Urbania and Sant’angelo in Vado and in collaboration with the Municipality of Sant’Angelo in Vado idealizes the international prize.
“The Pioneers of the truffle” which will take place on Saturday 30 October in Sant’Angelo in Vado in the spaces of the magnificent Church of Santa Maria Extra Muros.
A universal award aimed at those forerunners and charismatic figures who have been ahead of their time in promoting our cultural and gastronomic treasures, offering value and intensity to the world of truffles.
In the first edition, the pioneer of the truffle will be awarded in a concept of itinerancy: Don Giovanni Balsamini, creator and founder of the White Truffle Exhibition of the Marche in Sant’Angelo in Vado.
An award dedicated to the great inspirers of the value of the territories and to those characters not only from the Marches, but also from Piedmont, Tuscany and France who have made the world of truffles great; which today represents us in the world as the highest gastronomic, cultural and tourist identity.
Regional and national authorities will reach Sant’Angelo in Vado to honor this immense priest who has always loved his land.
